Boz Art, or currently boz_heart on Instagram is Isabel Roberts's tag. Previously known as Bozo Art Club, this website has now been renamed Bird Womb Arts.
My name is Isabel Marie Roberts. I am originally from Las Cruces, NM, and have moved around for most of my life. I moved to CO in late 2019 from New Mexico, after graduating high school, and began working in land conservation in 2020. I have lived in the Durango, CO since the winter of 2022; I moved to here to work as the Trails Crew Lead on the Columbine Ranger District in the San Juan National Forest. In the winter of 2024, I decided to leave my past four years in land conservation focus on developing my art. Beginning this change by leaving the Forest Service, I transitioned from working as a part time employee at the Art Supply House in Durango into full time managerial position. After working for several months in this position, prompted by reoccurring issues at the Art Store, I resigned. As of July of 2025 I now work as a Community Association Manager with Reliance Management and Trails Ops Coordinator for Durango Trails. I will be pursuing a double major in studio art and writing with FOrt Lewis College starting in the Fall of 2026.
I believe that art is one of the gifts I have the joy of sharing with the world and I want to offer that in my own authentic way. For me, sustaining my art practice is something I have to work towards every day. I have spent years creating and practicing art, and hope to bring this knowledge out into the world in a way that my art practice can begin to support itself. You can find me @boz_heart on Instagram and follow my journey there. Thanks so much!
Best wishes.
